ECCA is funded almost entirely by the people it protects. Donations pay for turnout gear, fuel, insurance, and the equipment that keeps aging trucks in service.

Where donations go

Apparatus

Engine #1 has been in service since the 1980s. Replacing it is the department's largest need.
Turnout gear

Helmets, coats and boots wear out and are expensive to replace.
Fuel and maintenance

Every call costs fuel, and every truck needs to pass inspection.
The station

The station doubles as a community shelter during wildfires and floods.
