What we respond to

When the call comes, your neighbors answer it

Every member of this department is a volunteer with another job and a family. They leave both when the pager goes off.

House and structure fires

Homes, barns and outbuildings across the district.

Grass and brush fires

The most common call we run, and the reason for the brush trucks.

Vehicle accidents

Extrication and traffic control on FM roads and county roads.

Medical first response

First responders on scene while the ambulance is still en route.

We can't help you if we can't find you

Most of this district is unmarked county road and long caliche driveways. At two in the morning, in smoke or rain, a reflective number at the end of your drive is the difference between us arriving and us searching.

We make and install them for $27. Every one sold also helps fund the department.
