Fundraising

Our community keeps growing — new homes, more neighbors, more friends. That growth
brings more of everything we respond to: house and brush fires, medical calls, and
collisions on the farm-to-market roads.

The new station

The station is finished, and it does more than house trucks. It includes a full
community center and serves as an emergency shelter during the events that put this
district at risk — wildfires, floods, and long power outages. It represents a
significant investment by the people who live here.

Replacing Engine #1

Engine #1 still runs. It is also 37 years old, and that is a problem beyond
reliability: the age and condition of a department's apparatus affects what insurance
is available to the homes it protects, and what that insurance costs.

A newer engine will not fit the old station, which is part of why the new one was
built. Grants help, but they do not close the gap. The rest comes from this community.

The Bonanza

Our largest fundraiser of the year. Photos from past years are in the
gallery, and dates for the next one go on the calendar.
