ECCA Volunteer Fire Department
911 Address Signs
When the call comes at two in the morning, in smoke or in rain, someone has to find
your house. Out here that is genuinely hard — most of this district is unmarked county
road and long caliche driveways that look identical in a headlight beam.
A reflective number at the end of your drive is the difference between us arriving
and us searching. It matters for the fire department, and it matters just as much
for an ambulance or a sheriff's deputy who has never been to your property before.
What you get
A reflective, weather-resistant sign with your address, mounted at the end of your
driveway where it can be seen from the road in both directions. The price is on the
donate page, and every sign sold also helps fund the department.
Ordering one
Order and pay on the donate page, or send a check to the station. Either
way, please include:
- your name
- a phone number we can reach you on
- the address you want on the sign
- a note saying "911 address sign"
If you are not sure what address the county has on file for your property, call us and
we will help you work it out before the sign is made.
